I started working for the Alliance Theatre in 2012 as a teaching assistant.

Did I think this was a very serious position meant for almost-out-of-college students with a Performing Arts Degree? Yes. Was it in fact a summer internship meant for high school students in the area? Also yes.

But I wouldn’t trade my time with the Alliance Education department for anything. I got introduced to all the theatres in town. I met the actors that were teaching artists for the summer who were doing what I wanted to be doing; being a working actor. I made connections with people who are still in my personal and professional life to this day. I may have even got to work with a man who would later become my husband.

Since those early days, I have done lots of different type of photography work for the Alliance. Below you will see production photos of some of their Theatre for The Very Young, summer camp coverage, adult class marketing photography, and special exhibit archival photography. If you scroll real closely, you might even see a baby with an Alliance onesie that is very very special to me.
